In 2022, West made a series of antisemitic statements on social media and in interviews, including threatening to go 'death con 3 on Jewish people.' He lost major brand deals including Adidas.

In a December 2022 interview with Alex Jones, West praised Hitler and expressed admiration for Nazis, leading to near-universal condemnation.

During a 2006 DUI arrest in Malibu, Gibson launched into an antisemitic rant, stating 'Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world.' He later apologized but the incident severely damaged his reputation.

Gibson's 2004 film was accused of promoting antisemitic tropes in its depiction of Jewish people's role in the crucifixion of Jesus. Religious scholars and the ADL raised concerns.
